Sr. DW Developer
This person will be expected to have a solid understanding of the Company's data model and the ability to design solutions and processes which combine disparate data into meaningful reporting and analysis that can be easily understood by our clinical and business customers. This person must have the ability to understand complex data relationships and business requirements and formulate efficient and reliable solutions to difficult problems.
The data warehouse developer must have a sound understanding of BI best practices, relational structures, and dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse implementation and reporting techniques. The developer will also be supporting and implementing BI solutions by: creating data models, monitoring and tuning queries and ETL data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
Work closely with other Information Services' counter parts as well as corporate clinical service lines to support the front end and back end reporting and analytic needs. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for daily operations and keeping the lights on as well actively participating on strategic projects within the data warehouse.
Bachelor's degree required. Associate's degree and four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Five (5) years of directly related work experience may also substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
