Sales Administrator Support

Serve as the main point of contact between sales and accounting, investigate and follow-up with parties in both departments regarding order status. Make process improvement recommendations to positively affect the processing of sales orders. Support inside sales activities as required. This may include: entering sales, demo and lead data into the sales database, reviewing and processing data from sales offices, sending correspondence and proposals to customers via courier and generating spreadsheets and graphics for sales reports. Recommend and develop procedures to improve accountability and integrity. Develop and maintain spreadsheets and charts for identifying root cause analysis in conjunction with marketing. Ensure that sales managers return action plans based on root cause charts in a timely manner. Document agreed upon actions and update spreadsheets and charts as required. Interface with sales support staff and AE's to gather information required to ensure validity and accuracy of quotes. Become an expert in SAP order processing.
OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed to maintain workflow and meet production schedules and requirements. Maintain safe work areas and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules. Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies. Recommend revisions to control documentation such as production checklists, operating procedures and policy manuals. Make and distribute authorized modifications as required. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned.
