Operations Coordinator - Hosted Operations Coordinator - Data Center Coordinator
Roles and responsibilities:
Review, submit, and present maintenance requests to the Change Advisory Board. Work with our vendors to ensure that the maintenance requests are accurate and necessary to protect the infrastructure.
Review, track, and process all decom change tickets. Validate the change ticket to the listed devices, submit to the appropriate vendors, track and confirm processing with PM/Vendors, confirm decom of devices, and update records for billing.
Accurately process all quote requests and work with our vendors in to ensure our Partners receive the correct assets. Track all quotes from build to delivery to ensure our Partners receive the assets in a timely manner.
Manage and audit Customer portal accounts. Add/delete users from Customer portals and run monthly audits on active accounts.
Audit monthly invoices against new builds and decoms processed each month. Work with the vendor on any discrepancies to ensure an accurate invoice.
Manage and maintain documentation both internally and externally on a quarterly basis to ensure relevance. Maintain and update standard operating procedure documentation and rate cards to ensure proper practice and pricing.
Manage the Service Ticket queue for our global location.
Run quarterly Vendor Performance surveys to track the performance of our vendors.
Run a monthly Data Center Power Consumption Report to track power consumption with our 3rd party hosting vendors and internal Data Centers.
Run quarterly SOX Compliance reports.
Run annual SOC1, Type 2 reports from our 3rd party hosting vendors.
Organize meetings, discussion sessions, technical briefings or on-site visits to facilitate collaboration between company and vendors to engage on topics of interest, incident follow-ups, technology sharing or working sessions.
Minimum 1-3 years' experience working with vendors
Working knowledge of systems, network, storage, firewalls, load balancers, data centers, Linux and Windows
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaborative with other team members from different disciplines and backgrounds
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience utilizing project and vendor management skills/tools
Problem solving and negotiation skills
Experience implementing best practices, process, and standards
