Kolter Solutions is the great jobs for great people place! We are seeking an experienced CPA/Finance Manager for a government entity located in Orlando, Florida. Must have government/municipality/public experience and not just private practice only. This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating and monitoring of all fiscal and financial activities including annual budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fleet vehicle management. Coordinate the preparation of the agency's annual budget and departmental budget, obtaining all necessary documentation and responsible for the payroll processing. You will manage the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for internal and external users and ensure reports and disclosures comply with applicable governmental regulations, professional standards and organizational policies. Frequently interact with employees, managers, and explain financial processes while providing good customer service. The ability to work effectively and collaboratively to develop productive partnerships across departments and organizations is paramount. .BS or BBA Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with MBA or CPA preferred. State or Local government accounting or financial management experience, a plus. Experience at the management level, including direct responsibility for budgeting, finance or accounting is required.
